Quick breakfast


Healthy, fast and delicious!
The most important meal of the day is a hearty breakfast. In order to perform and function properly, we need food after getting up. It allows us to focus on work or school. Many college students skip breakfast because they often don't have enough time, sleep too long, or feel hungry.

What does my ideal breakfast look like?
During the summer I prefer a sweet and moisturizing breakfast, do you? When it gets warmer, I prefer to start the day with a smoothie bowl full of vitamins. It gives me energy and enthusiasm to start the day. Who wouldn't want to stand up for that? Delicious right!

Smoothie bowl.
A smoothie bowl is a healthy and hip trend! It is a thicker smoothie that you can eat from a bowl. The smoothie bowl is firmer than a smoothie you can drink. Afterwards you can decorate it with different toppings depending on what you like, for example with nuts, seeds and granola. You can be very creative when making your bowl, so make a small gift for yourself!

Fast and simple!

  • Use a powerful blender. When using frozen fruit, your blender must be powerful so that the blender can mix everything well. If your blender is not strong enough, stick to frozen fruit and keep the smoothie in the fridge for a while to cool down. 
  • The base of the smoothie bowl is a banana. A banana provides an energy boost and also contains a lot of vitamins + it also makes the smoothie thicker.
  • Fresh fruit is much more expensive than frozen fruit which is why I always take frozen fruit! You can use fresh fruit for the topping.
  • You can make your smoothie bowl completely vegan by using a plant-based alternative.
What are the ingredients?
  • 1 banana
  • Nuts
  • Greek yogurt 100 ml
  • Seeds
  • Red fruit
  • Granola
  • Almond milk 150 ml
  • Chia seed
  • Honey 1 tbsp


Preparation method.
Put your frozen fruit in the blender, blend your banana and your frozen raspberries and strawberries together with the Greek yogurt. Add almond milk and honey afterwards. Blend this into a thick smoothie until you no longer see any pieces. Always taste your smoothie in between, do you want it sweeter? Then you can still add 1 tablespoon of honey. Pour it into a bowl and then put the toppings over it so that it looks nice!

Hydrating drink.

 Especially during the summer months I like to
 drink water in the morning. But not just any flat
 water because this would be a bit boring, right?
 In the evening before I go to sleep I make a water
 jug with lemon, (ginger) and cucumber, nice and
 refreshing. It hydrates your body, increases your    energy level and promotes healthy skin.
